Passages from 5 Inspiring Books About Writing

I try to read a lot…mainly because I love to read. But also because all great writers should (in my opinion) be great readers, too.

In my reading adventures, I try to include books about writing for obvious reasons: I want to be the best writer I can be, and I want to become a master of my craft.

Following are some of my favorite passages from books about writing.

Zen in the  Art of Writing, Ray Bradbury

The Great Spring, Natalie Goldberg

Writing Down the Bones, Natalie Goldberg

Wild Mind, Natalie  Goldberg (yes, obviously I’m a fan)

The War of Art, Steven Pressfield

That last one might be my favorite.

Have any favorite books about writing? Or favorite quotes about this crazy thing we do? Please share!
